I think he sees him as a backup for James, and given that we need all the funds we can get for other first team players this summer he might consider extending Siggurdson a cheap way to patch a hole in the squad for another season.

We couldn’t afford them all, but they are all good players. The only one we would go for is Aaron’s I think.

My original point was that there are players in the Championship who are ready to go and would definitely improve us. (I’m remembering Cahill here)

The teams that come up usually have one special player that made the difference. Think Branford of Grealis.

All of the midfielders I have mentioned would have got in our side and played many games. I prefer these types of player to Juve 30 year old cast offs.
