It’s insufferable because of the sheer waste. Every time I think of it I am shocked at the negligence, the sheer unbridled incompetence.

The thing is I think you could think/feel the same being a fan of any sort-of-rich PL club. We all spend badly.

Possibly but I’d struggle to name any club that has spent *as* badly as we have. And that’s seen in how hard to is to shift the absolute dross. It’s not just bad players it’s the sheer money spent on them.

Depends how you look at it. People always say "Leicester never get it wrong" or "another good RS purchase" but gloss over the sheer dross people have spent.

Spurs with the Bale money, tosh. Andy Carroll to RS for £35m? Tosh. Fred for nearly £60m? Garbage.

All clubs spend horrid amounts, all clubs struggle to sell aged poor players on huge contracts.
