Really suprised that Brands hasent been back to one of his old clubs - AZ to have a proper look at some of there talent
I'm not Brands' biggest fan but to be fair to him I think he knows that league is a crock - at least that's what I gathered when he spoke about the prices of Lozano and Bergwign when they both still played in the Netherlands.

If those clubs can afford to charge big prices he's going to look elsewhere.

Sorry but he isn't actually that good though, he is being offered around clubs because nobody actually wants him due to him wanting 100k per week and being a bang average player who is 29 years old

He may be bang average.......compared to THE best players on the planet.

Yet he is better than every one of our wingers/right backs/right wing backs, by a mile.

He has loads of european experience, is not on THAT big wages, manager knows him well, he is also close to James, and he plays in 3 positions at a CL level.

But ye.....lets not get him, we only want Messi level players.

We moan about our squad depth and options for different formations....then moan about players that would help with both of those problems.

Quite surprised at this...

Lets say we sign a RB/RWB and/or a RW/RF.

Would you be happy with Coleman/Iwobi/Holgate as rotation RB/RWB and Iwobi/Bernard as rotation RW/RF?

If not then we'll have to sign two new RB/RWB and also two new RW/RF players.

Personally, Id sign a RWB to start and Vasquez as rotation. Then sell Iwobi + Bernard to cover most of the RWB fee. Have Coleman as backup with Holgate returning to centre back.

Use our actual transfer funds on starters. Then over Vasquez's two year deal bring in an u21 RB/RWB to develop.

Too much commen sense in this. Most want to play Foot man and sign the best on the planet.

The concept of a "squad" lost of so many.

EVERTON have joined Manchester United in the race to sign Napoli defender Kalidou Koulibaly, according to reports.

Napoli are reportedly prepared to cut their hefty £89million price tag for Koulibaly.

According to Football Insider, Everton have set their sights on the Napoli defender and are ready to make an offer for him.

But the Toffees will face plenty of competition for the powerful centre-back if they are to sign him.

Manchester United are keen on Koulibaly and it appears Napoli are prepared to lower their asking price.

The Italians rejected a £95m offer from the Red Devils in 2018 but reportedly could consider a bid of around £39m this summer.

The pandemic has crippled the financial position of clubs across Europe and Napoli are set to accept a significantly lower offer for Koulibaly.
39m for Koulibaly would be alright business. He's still got a good 3 or 4 seasons at his current level and would definitely improve us.

If you look closely , in the distance you will see the forlorn figures of Davy Klassen and Donny van Dee Beek slowly trudging through the fields with their heads bowed as they leave the PL and head to mid table clubs in the Bundesliga
Very few from Holland work out in the PL
Even Zytech is struggling for consistency with Chelsea
