Are you a zat multiToo old.
Koubailly for 35 m sell Holgate for 20 and you have improved our defence immensely for the next 3 /4 seasons for 15m
No idea of his wage demands though

£100k a week is a lot for squad depth. Thats how we ended up in the situation we're in.He may be bang average.......compared to THE best players on the planet.
Yet he is better than every one of our wingers/right backs/right wing backs, by a mile.
He has loads of european experience, is not on THAT big wages, manager knows him well, he is also close to James, and he plays in 3 positions at a CL level.
But ye.....lets not get him, we only want Messi level players.
We moan about our squad depth and options for different formations....then moan about players that would help with both of those problems.
Really suprised that Brands hasent been back to one of his old clubs - AZ to have a proper look at some of there talent
I'm not Brands' biggest fan but to be fair to him I think he knows that league is a crock - at least that's what I gathered when he spoke about the prices of Lozano and Bergwign when they both still played in the Netherlands.
If those clubs can afford to charge big prices he's going to look elsewhere.

Bernard, agree to let go but definitely think we could get closer to 10m in a deal with add ons.We need to offload a lot of the tat Brands has loaded us with this summer
Bernard: £4-5 million
Iwobi: £12-15 million
Slowmes: £12-15 million
Delph- give him away
Kean: £40-45 million to PSG
Add in Kenny and Toshun hopefully punted and Bolasie/Walcott/Besic out of contract hopefully we can finally sort out the wage bill.
He also said Lozano was only worthThere are some very good players in Holland. Brands even name checked Gravenberch a few weeks ago.
He hasnt even brought in a single Dutch player since joining which seems odd to me.
Anyone could see Ziyech and Klaasen were massively overrated. Its a hard league to read but he should be able to bring in one player lol
Again would he be more suited to playing Right wing back?Well he would not be exacty a "squad" player only.
He has started 31 times for Real Madrid this season.....im pretty sure he will be one of our best players and start more than he doesnt.
He improves the squad as in pushes Coleman & Iwobi down the pecking order.
But the fact he'll be 30 at the point we signed him surely counts against him there? We can't fill the first team with 30 year olds, it's not a good plan. The suggestion has been that we're looking at a long term right back like Aarons. If we're looking at a 30 year old on £100k a week instead of finding a long term solution then I think it's a terrible move. If we're looking at both then it seems an extravagance but it depends how much money we have to play with I suppose. Either way, I don't think questioning whether it would be a good signing is particularly weird really. I recall a similar debate about Delph, and we all know how that ended up.Well he would not be exacty a "squad" player only.

That's a fairly extreme viewpoint your taking there. We are not trying to sign Messi level players, why would we be? all i'm saying is i don't think he is much of an upgrade on what we have and that's before you even mention his age. IF like @Zatara suggests and he is coming in to play some sort of rotational role with a younger signing like Aarons then i can see some possible sense to that.He may be bang average.......compared to THE best players on the planet.
