There should be no condition on that obligation. There's no reason for us to agree to it. If they don't want to sign the player properly, then sod off.

They are signing him properly, we get a fee for each of the two seasons then the agreed fee, he’s effectively off the wage bill barring a career ender

A break or muscle injury for a couple months wouldn’t effect the deal, it would only be an injury serious enough that he couldn’t play again

Sound, let's do every transfer that way then. Five year loans, pay you after it if he doesn't get crocked.

It doesn't happen because nobody is that stupid, except seemingly us.

Oh Im not denying there will be injury clauses

But to suggest that there wont be appearance clauses and/or CL qualification clauses in any way shape or form, in order for the deal to become perm is very far fetched indeed.

Yeah but this kind of attitude is exactly why the club has only spent 1.5mil this window despite the gaping holes and need for recruitment. We'll run the club into the ground doing this
