Player Valuation: £70m
Worth mentioning again that key passes mean absolutely nothing...

Sounds familiar palI
Brought a few teams over to play in it
My overriding memories are
Watching top clubs from Europe
Kids puking their rings up on the ferry to Holyhead
Type of players we should be jumping onOlise, he scored the other day, i and others have been banging on about him for a while as he would fit into midfield perfectly for us as that legs in getting forward from midfield into attack. There is also meant to be some sort of £8m release fee in his contract.
Its a tough one. Look at the clubs who have previously came up, spent a bucket load and been hopeless. Its hard to find decent players to come into a newly promoted side and all gel straightaway.. youre taking the supply line away from Pukki and i think thatll make a bigger difference than padding out the team with journeymen to play in Prem.I think Norwich would sell Buendia and Aarons this summer....£60mil / £70mil or whatever it may be.
Rather than then selling those players at the end of the next season (and possibly doing so after being relegated) they would do so from a position of strength.
Additionally, they can use the money and sign 4 young players with it. Thats with the view of selling those for for £25-30mil each in a seasons time.
Rather than waiting a season for the £60-70mil they would be aiming for £100-120mil next summer.
James Maddison is only one month older than Buendia but has probably three seasons already in the Premiership
His talent was obvious at a much younger age.
Every player moving from a lower standard league to a higher is a risk but there are factors like age, height and physical athleticism which increases the chance of a player succeeding.
Neither would I however this notion that Wilf is dirge is hilarious he would waltz into our side - Eze is the new flavour of the month but here's the thing how many goals and assists does he have compared to Wilf?
Too many on here get attracted to style over substance - we have too many of those types who can look good on the ball but rack up little goals/assists.

He would have been our best creative player last season. Not saying that's a high bar, but I also don't think "never produced" is fair either. Not saying we shouldn’t sign Buendia but 1. ‘Top class championship player’ is a bit of an oxymoron and 2. Dropping £40m on a player who has never produced at the highest level is absolutely not, in any way shape or form, ‘low risk’.
That's definitely not true, we need creativity and forward passing badly.Re Emiliano Bunny , the only way he gets into our squad is as a deputy for the not so rare occurrence of James being unavailable.
Despite that not being a rare event I dont see us paying £40 million for a sub.
He offered quite a bit last season. Just not as many goals.Buendia is just another Dwight Gayle / Cameron Jermome - looks like Messi in the Fizzy Pop League but didn't seem to offer much when in the PL.
Him and Aarons aint taking us forward.
How many time do they have a truly good player to sell though? I think that is part of the rarity. When was the last time a team got promoted and sold 1 or more of their key players? Honest question, I genuinely can't remember it ever happening.
Not sure, i watched Maddison struggle up here for Aberdeen, and not a single don wouldve believed he wouldve developed so much within 12 months of going back to Norwich. His final season for them he was top class.James Maddison is only one month older than Buendia but has probably three seasons already in the Premiership

There are obviously ways to be an effective player without scoring goals. Honestly if he's going to score more than 5 a season that's just a bonus on top of the other stuff he definitely gives the team.Oh you were using those figures as evidence of him producing? Producing one goal? Right you are. Carry on then.
