He's been a good player just not sure that's what we need more aging players after one last payday. We need hungry, ambitious and dynamic our midfield is quite old as is. Gomes is meant to be more attacking but he isn't we need to move him and Delph and add someone who can drive this team forward. Davies/Allan/Doucoure/Gbamin is enough options at DM. We need a Kessie type.

We don’t need another slow midfielder, we have enough of them already.

Dele Ali will be the same as Lingard. Nobody wants him but if he does move on he’ll do very well.

I'd happily have Alli. Said we shoulda went for him in Jan too. The talent he showed consistently not long back is still there, just needs a manager to show faith in him. Offers goals and energy from midfield too, something we desperately lack.

The problem is, he can only play as a 10. So with Richarlison, it becomes a problem.

I don’t think the 4231 system suits Richarlison stick out on the left wing, so to sign Ali the only really option would be, to go to wing backs. Or sell Richarlison

Agree entirely.
Just look at what Moyes is getting out of Lingard at West Ham. Think that the 2 players have similar mentalities and needs.

He doesn’t play in midfield, his position is loitering around the edge of the penalty area waiting for the ball to drop nicely to him and not getting involved anywhere else on the pitch ever.

1) A rubbish player and a key feature of the worst pl team in yonks
2) Strolled around the pitch last week without the slightest bit of pride in himself or his team.
3) A massive red who utterly loves them.

Dele Alli has really had some fall, was probably one of the first names on the team sheet for England a couple of years back, can't have become a shocking player overnight, Mourinho really does like to ruin certain players, Luke Shaw being another. He's not particularly versatile. What he's good at he's pretty good at but he's not adding much else so if you can't fit him he's not useful at all.
