I think that formation is temporary, but it feels like we have been trying to get rid of the deadwood, bring in a RB, RW, CM and a CF since the summer of 2018. Im not sure ive got the mental strength to watch us not do it again

I like Mina very tenacious and committed to sacrificing his body for a block or clever in the box tackle but he occasionally makes dodgy decisions and he's very susceptible to injuries. I wouldn't to sell him but we already have so many players who are constantly prone to injuries. Honestly defense outside of right back should not be our focus. Midfielder, right back, a winger and secondary forward/striker, goal keeper should be the priority. Jeez our squad is so deficient

City have far less need for impact subs. They rotate their squad heavily, and rarely find themselves having to change the game because they’re losing/struggling.
