Everton Summer transfers 2021

Seems like Rabiot links keep popping up periodically. Has anyone actually watched him? Seems like a bit of a box to box based on stats and the odd YouTube clip. Doesn’t look particularly fast or slow, nor does he get many goals or assists so he might fit right in.

He's a bit too moody imo.
He can do a couple of great games and then walk around the field without a purpose for months.
I don't know in PL how good he would do.

Who would you replace him with if were looking 'long term' say under 25 ?
Not sure tbh, i don't really like the way the whole thing has gone with Kean i think that will come back on us eventually, but i am not sure who is out there at the moment. Id kind of like a bit more experience upfront so we have guaranteed goals for a couple of years so we can cement a place in the top 6.

sign anyone leicester want to sign, everyone they sign seems to be decent

Just a small selection of duff signings every club makes.

Express running with it now
They need a new centre forward. I suppose it depends on. Kane, who will be very costly and at 28 With dodgy ankles. That’s a gamble.

Haaland. I’m not sure he goes to Utd. Mbappe again im not sure he will leave or go Utd.

So there’s not many more options unless they go down the Cavani route or take a punt on a young striker from abroad.

It will be interesting to see what ancelotti/brands wouid do if a big offer came in. As it would smash ffp( if it’s still such a thing) wide open. Him and kean could basically fund a new front 3
To add to Richarlison and James. And we’d still have plenty to buy a top class box to box midfielder.

I know some people will say you can’t sell your best players. And in the past it hasn’t worked out well for us. But so many on here rave about Leicester, well they’ve brought in 250m from sales Since becoming champions.

If for a second I thought DCL had the talent to get to Kane’s level or shearer.
Then I would be dead against, but he will never get anywhere near them two.

Lautaro Martinez... (I am fully aware we have no chance of signing him)
On a more realistic note Alexander Isak would be a good shout

Martinez was linked of course a couple of months ago...£45mil i think which seemed like a bargain...and also poppycock lol

Probably sensible,if Belotti is available at the £27mil amount suggested then id go for him.

With the rest of the money + Kean's funds then we could do some additional damage in the market.

To me though selling DCL would be a real step back...i think we could generate money from Keane, Kean, Mina, Kenny, Gomes, Bernard and Iwobi to hit over £100mil.

If we had another £60mil+ in the pot then we could really have a good window.

Am I missing something? How does the buying club "set" a price for someone they want to buy?
It’s the media, again thinking the big 6 rule. Same with Lukaku, I’m sure all the talk was 70mil to 75. I think we ended up with 90.

It like when ever you read about coutinho it always Liverpool got 140mil. I dont think the they’ve had anywhere near that. Been in the media recently that he’s a few games short of them getting a another payment for like 10/15mil

They also want to tell the story that the big 6 get the best deals. Sell cheap buy high. Nobody is mugging off the media darlings when it comes to a transfer.
