I mean that's not really how it works but OK. I can't really stress enough here, I don't want us to sell him, but I think a bid of £80m would be worth considering. Everyone has a price, and for me (who obviously has absolutely no say over it and is just giving his opinion on the internet) that would be very much approaching his. As I've also said though, I would probably eventually decide to keep him, simply because I have no faith in our ability to replace him properly.

agree. DCL has improved under Carlo and how good he can be is completely up to him. I don't want to sell him either but if 80million was on offer we'd be mad not to at least consider it. From a FFP point of view it's a no brainer and we have Richarlison primed and ready to take the No9 shirt if we sold him. Take the money and back Carlo for a pretty serious squad re-build.

Nothing to do with him being an ex red. I just don't believe he's what we need right now. If we go for another CM I would fully expect it to be a box to box Gbamin(pre injury) type.

On a side note I really hope we see Brands work some his magic this summer window and pick out a cheap gem. I can see us getting Aarons as a safe option, a Carlo approved CM, and hopefully a Brands wildcard winger on the cheap.
