I feel this would be as good a thread as any to make my first actual post on here.
We had a 10 point progression this season. A similar development next season will likely end in European qualification. Ancelotti and Brands will be looking at realistic and steady evolution.
Looking at our squad we can reasonably expect to offload Delph, Bernard, King, Kean and Jonjoe Kenny.
That means they'll likely be looking at a central midfielder, a right-back and a wide and central forward.
I'm not on football manager so I have no database to tap into, but I'd think the likes of Zaha are highly unlikely and the likes of Diaby at Leverkusen and Aarons are very much likely.
Dynamic and hungry footballers with the profile we do not already possess.
Then, we'll get the bonus of pushing our progress further and quicker if we can shift one of Holgate, Keane and Mina and get a centre half more adept at playing a higher line as Carlo seems very keen on.
So four-five out and four-five in. There will be nothing more dramatic then that I'm afraid.
