Everton Summer transfers 2021

FFP? I hope you are right.
Again does that even exist anymore. They apparently have eased the rules because of COVID. Let’s have it right I’m sure they will want the clubs with money to carry on spending. So the money filters down and keeps clubs in trouble afloat.

Have they actually ever done a club for FFP?

Again maybe as an Everton fan watch a few interviews with our manager, who a few weeks ago said how could the authorities do us for breaking FFP, when they’ve let 6 clubs off Scott free, for trying to bring the whole game in this country down.

Now it might be out of nowhere but with money reportedly being tight we may have to accept we cannot fill all the positions we need this summer.

Danny Rose has been released by Spurs and is only 30 so still has a couple of years left in him. If we rotate him and Seamus next season I think they could get us through and do a good job, plus Rose will have something to prove for sure.

That will help us spend the little money we have elsewhere

How’ve you managed to somehow not know Danny Rose is a left-footed LB?????

Coma perhaps.

You do realise he’s a LB?

That’s before we get to the next issue of him being pure rotting manure.

I don't think point deductions are severe enough for the treacherous 6 and the ESL debacle. I feel the appropriate punishment would be for six games a season each team would have to start iwobi. Tough but fair and it would get him off our books and provide an actual chance for Europe

The fact Danny is a left back probably doesn’t help here.

bit strong there mate. Considering he has not played in an age it’s not like I’ve seen him play week in week out.

But you are correct. Well done.

Why would we want a last his best left back when we have depth in that position?

Very good mate

I would guess that if the story is true about Moshiri arranging extra finance then it would have been arranged long since.
Maybe, it is the story that is being revealed now.
I would guess the finance amounts required gave been known for some time.
Maybe as early as when CA agreed to join us.

The people who reported it in the Athletic were very precise that it is currently being worked on.

I'm not saying we aren't trying to back CA. I'm saying, it seems once again that there is a lack of planning.

Until I see evidence to the contrary then I'll continue to think that.

Maybe that evidence will come next week when it turns out we've been working on a deal for a right-back for six months and have it all tied up.

This is a bit of a weird one isnt it...without going all boring about financial deals..

What kind of deal is it?
Why hasnt it been arranged already?
Is it definitely happening?
How long until its activated?
Who is the investor?

My guess is that its an external deal with a third party who is seen as a possible longer term partner and only moved forward once the stadium got the green light.

That would be the logical explanation as to why its not already in place (perhaps it already is)...

Soumare to Leicester too, and believe they're in for Edouard too though that is a deal which will probably take longer.

I'm not devastated to be missing any of them, and I think we'll get good players in.

My general point is it's not impossible to have deals done nice and early when it's clear what you need. But there's still time before the Euros for Everton to prove me wrong and get a player in and I'll eat humble pie.

It'd just be nice. But then again, it'd be nice if Jennifer Lawrence rocked up at mine tonight.

You would think that if we were after Celik from Lille (same club as Soumare) then we'd also be at the same stage of the deal as Leicester by now.

That gives me hope were looking for better.

By the same token, Marseille and Monaco would be open to sell players like Kamara, Badiashile and Tchouameni so its a bit disappointing that players like those havent been snapped up -- from those and other sides.

Its a window we should be moving quickly in i think.

Very very unlikely I know, but rumours of city wanting Grealish and selling sterling. That would be a statement. Out of interest what sought of price do you think he goes for. 80?

Grealish or Sterling?

Two things in play here...

1: If City sign Grealish then Villa have money to spend and may well be after the same targets as us...we should be moving quickly in this market as there will be a transfer merry go round as always and we dont want to be the only side left holding a ticket.

2: Sterling is on £300k a week in wages. If he goes anywhere it would be to another rich club like a PSG or Chelsea. Having said that, i think City keep him.
