It’s fine. We all know the beard possessed him and made him better.
So, Barcelona paid/are paying Betis 9M€ to acquire Emerson. They already owned 50% if him for which they paid 6M€ (so 15M they have paid). However, if they sell him this summer, they will only get 50% of the transfer fee, with the other 50% to Betis... so in order to avoid an accounting loss they would need a sale of well above 20M€.
However if they wait until January, Betis will receive only 20%, with the other 80% to Barça...
I heard we’ve missed out on Areola, he’s going to France, got his sights set on either Nice or Brest. There is one tit who thinks Areola is better than Pickford lol
Worrying news.
Can we be linked to gems like this please Brands.
Mourinho and Warnock too.I've always liked Wenger but his diving accusations of AJ and his subsequent treatment by referees following trial by media was scandalous..
But at the end of the day you have to back the manager or why bring him in?Maybe that's the problem with our club? Too many chefs...
I'd imagine that Leicester etc sit down with the manager and come up with a whole plan - formations, tactics and players that will work.
We just go "our right back is a bit past his best, let's get another" then all argue about who, what, where, when and why.
Why have a Director of Football ? Either the DoF is in charge of transfer strategy, or they're just a glorified negotiator. Ancelotti should tell Brands what positions he wants filled, and what qualities he's looking for, then leave the rest to Brands. Ancelotti should have right of veto over any incoming transfer, but it shouldn't be up to him to propose names to bring in.But at the end of the day you have to back the manager or why bring him in?
I think Brands is there to make sure our additions are right for the squad long term though. But at the end of the day you have to back the manager or why bring him in?

Too many chefs? The players are so spoilt for choice at Wednesday's training that they end up playing terrible football on a Saturday?Maybe that's the problem with our club? Too many chefs...

You can coach an American to a good level but they tend lack the natural talent that comes with being a world class footballer or a very top level player. That being said they do produce excellent gymnasts.America will never produce a world-class footballer.
