Man management of him wasn't great either. Chelsea League Cup tie at Goodison he was on a yellow and then got sent off in ET, Chelsea went on to score and to progress. He should've been taken off in that game and we may have had a chance to win. No doubt afterwards he would've got a talking to for being sent off! Final was RS v Cardiff. That could've been us in the final losing on pens to the Championship team!!

Agree with that it wasn't down to the fans at all, though some on here were never happy with him almost from the start. I'm just sick and tired of all the mess, we have to start all over again. Another manager has now upped, gone and left his mess for the next to clear up, rinse and repeat and again no stability. Sickened by it all and no sorry I don't wish him well at all, just another mercenary with no morals, hope it all blows up in his face.
I think he’d pulled all sorts of stunts that had caused moyes to give up on him - i just felt moyes would have been better served playing him in the context of a getting a result then giving him both barrels - felt like we cut off our nose a bit

Ha yeah it should work that way but a dof will still wait till a coach is in place and approves of/works with him on signings before signing off on players, also incoming players will want to know who the coach is. It's a bitter pill really when we are desperate for more quality...

I can only go off last window. Allan is fine but not good business. James is whatever because he's free, he'd be great if he stayed healthy but he won't. Doucoure is crap but hopefully a new manager will help him find a way to be useful more frequently. That is also not good business. We didn't need to do that again.
