Everton Summer transfers 2021

....no idea if this is reliable but ‘pushes for a move’ might be a 10% concession if Richarlison puts in a transfer request.

I know he has his doubters, but he’s a terrific player in my opinion. I have no idea of his worth but we would surely look for a large profit on our £40m outlay.

I think we have probably missed the boat on a big profit, but would hope we could push for £60m+

I'm not sure the boat was actually there as much as we hyped him up. Bigger clubs can afford to pass on the player with glaring weaknesses in how he plays.
He’s never really improved the weak parts of his game. Losing the ball, poor passing, bad decision making. For me he can only play as a striker. To inconsistent to play in the wing.

I agree, but then you've got the problem that he's hardly played as a striker and doesn't look nearly as comfortable there. It's an issue for sure. We'll see what the new manager can do.

There was a bid of £85m we turned down though.

Fake news. Only reported by Sky Sports on deadline day Jan 2020 - The Athletic even done an article on it calling it a 'ghost bid'. No way we would've turned down that money for him.

"My agent spoke to Everton and it was nothing, just rumours. It's nice to have recognition but I want to continue to score goals and do well here.”

I'd say we be lucky to get £60m and if we did then it's good business. That said, I'd rather keep him.

Anything north of £60 million and he can go.
Very good player on his day but they were infrequent last season and, sadly , increasingly he looked like he didn't want to be here.
Him and Kean for a combined £100 million is a nice start to the kitty for a rebuild.
