Can someone please explain to me why Arsenal are still considered to be a big club? They haven't done anything in ages they're finished ninth last year barely above us in a year where we bottled literally every single opportunity to do anything and yet they're saying that this is what they need in order to kick on.

because they have the 3rd (maybe 2nd) biggest fanbase in England, a huuuge following abroad too

appeal to Arsenal fans by calling them a top club and you will get plenty of clicks which is all these sites want

It’s to do with fan base. They did also win the FA Cup last year but that is neither here nor there. These articles are all based on clicks. Arsenal have more fans than us. So they are a bigger club in terms of writing stories

No one should believe or follow this rubbish, much less get wound up by it. Two days ago Benitez was our most likely option, the next morning the story was we haven’t even spoken to him yet.
