Id rather we hired Ferguson over both Nuno and Benitez.

DCL praising him frequently...fans behind him...lots of high level coaching experience under different managers...all the badges.

Why bother going outside the club?

Mate I'd take Dunc over many of them, I am so disheartened if it's Rafael I am struggling to support that

If the list that the media have is really the list then its Ferguson for me (who isnt on the list).

Otherwise hopefully theyre just going through the motions on candidates and negotiating behind the scenes with someone.

Hopefully it's that all smoke and noise leaked from managers who have spoken to the club and want it but the amount of journos and sources claiming it today is worrying. .

I’m not sure about Ferguson to be honest, but maybe before ancelotti they should have given in to Dunc and basically tell him to just keep us in the league for the next 2/3 seasons. While we wait to get all the dross on high wages off the books. And over that time blood a few youngsters and see how they cope.

And then appoint a top manager and regroup./start again

If that's the plan, I cant help but think it was a bad one, as fans are even more angry now than before, and I dont think theyve really moved to accepting Nuno anymore.
