Really impressive sets of 90mins based on the teams we had out.

No Godfrey, Doucoure, Allan or James of course.

Id say he did a fantastic job.

If brands is signing the players as he seems to be doing this window then Ferguson seems to be a good candidate.

Interesting to see if the signings are any good for us if were bringing them in before a manager.

Why bother going outside the club?

Same reason as last time - he lost the job when he hooked Kean. It showed his man management wasn't ready for prime time. Most likely, if he wants the job he'll have to leave, make his bones and come back.
