Everton Transfer Thread 2016

Buy a young version of Barry and bring Rooney home. I want to see a midfield with Rooney and Barkley with a good security player behind them. McCarthy, Barry and Besic is good enough for our bench next season.

Say Ter Stegen, Manolas, Kramer, Xhaka, Yarmolenko, Lacazette.

I expect Stones and Lukaku are gone and we receive £100m on top of the money Moshiri likely to hand to the new manager.

4-2-1-3

Ter Stegen

Coleman Manolas Funes Mori Baines

Kramer Xhaka

Barkley

Yarmolenko Lacazette Mirallas

You can always sign more players to replace others if you have more cash to spend but this will be a team I would like. Net Spend is around £50m.
You are Zatara and I claim my £20.

On the premier league website it states

There are also attempts to increase the number of homegrown players
http://www.bbc.com/sport/football/33892349
In 2013, Dyke created a commission with the aim of increasing the number of English players in the Premier League to 45% by 2022.

Dyke made a number of proposals to help achieve this goal, including increasing the minimum number of home-grown players in a club's first-team squad of 25 from eight to 12, phased over four years from 2016. The Premier League agreed to a consultation over the proposed changes in March 2015.

The homegrown quota shouldn't cause us too many problems this summer but it does explain why certain players are in the senior squad, and pulls the rug out from under the types of posters who bleat on about selling 14 players in the summer so that there are funds available to buy everyone from Germany who has 5 stars for skill moves on FIFA.

Everton (evertonfc.com)
25 Squad players (*=Home grown)
*Baines, Leighton John
*Barkley, Ross
*Barry, Gareth
Besic, Muhamed
*Cleverley, Thomas William
Coleman, Seamus
Funes Mori, Jose Ramiro
*Gibson, Darron Thomas Daniel

Howard, Timothy Matthew
*Jagielka, Philip Nikodem
Kone, Arouna
*Lennon, Aaron
*Lukaku, Romelu Menama

Mirallas Y Castillo, Kevin Antonio Joel Gislain
Naismith, Steven John
*Osman, Leon
Oviedo Jimenez, Bryan Josue
Pienaar, Steven
Robles Blazquez, Joel
Rodriquez, Leandro Joaquin

If we ship out Gibson, Osman, Hibbert (as we should) then we still have 9 HG in the squad. BUT Barry and Jags are both getting on a bit, and the jury is very much out on McCarthy and Cleverley.

Suddenly it's clear why Conor McAleny is still in the senior squad.

Adding in Lukaku and Stones potentially wanting to go gives anther reason for picking a coach that has an interest in bringing through our youth players for the long term.

Mind you I was not intended to play the FM mode. Some poster asked me for suggestions for signing. I just gave my opinion. Check out the old posts.

Look what Emery had done. Anything can happen.

I can't be bothered to go through the whole post bit Xhaka is off to Arsenal as a starter.

Selling Lukaku for £65m and bringing in Lacazette for £35m, alongside Batshuayi for £25m would be great business.

Similarly to selling Stones for £40m and buying two top class young defenders with the funds.

We have an interesting summer ahead.
