Does a managers current playing squad influence whom you want to take over Everton in regards to whom they might poach?

If you believe they take notice of websites I pity you.

I pity you for defecting the Besic camp for Milik.

Regardless to think teams ignore stats is just naive so not sure why they'd ignore WhoScored just because it's a website when it's one of the most reputable stat hubs in football these days.

This is pure Championship Manager stuff, but I advocate the following:

Swap Stones for Hart and Bony.
Sell Lukaku for 60 million.
Spend 60 million on the midfield. That will be a boss, creative and attacking midfielder, alongside a boss LM. There may also be a need for a DCM, but we have Barry and McCarthy for that, and I wouldn't turn down Carrick on a free.
Spend the TV money on a boss central defender, that should be 20 -30 million easy.
Spend the remainder of the TV money and / or Moshiri's cash injection on a further striker 15 - 20 million.

You completely lost me at 'this is pure championship manager stuff'

Now if you said Fifa, then i could go with it

Just to highlight how much rubbish it is.

Everton have a rating of 6.88 and finished 11th
United have a rating of 6.83 and finished 5th

Im not saying stats are useless, im sure its 1 of many factors they use, but to suggest they would go off a website alone is a bit naive.

I just took over us in Fifa (very rare I will do that as I like to "earn" the job).

I just shifted out the ones you would expect to leave, Osman, Hibbert, Gibson etc and brought in:

GK Ron Robert Zieler
CB Aden Flint
LB Jordan Lukaku (In a ploy to get his brother to stay)
ST Breel Embolo

Went with a 4-3-3 formation. Zieler in goal, Coleman, Stones, Flint and Baines at the back, Besic, McCarthy and Barkley in mid and a front three of Mirallas, Embolo (Lukaku is injured) and Ged.

Got hammered by Schalke in pre season 1-5.

Bunch of losers. I think I have lost the dressing room already.

Oh I'm not saying solely look at it but I bet some teams do use it to support their other research. I can't even remember the player we're arguing over now though.

Some Left Back I thought.

Which considering we have more Left Backs in the squad than any other player and dont have a manager, seems a strange discussion.

Bernd Leno has a release clause, rumoured to be around 18m Euros. Would rather go all out for him than Hart. Rulli linked with a move to England too. Yes please.
