....bit surprised there hasn't been news of outgoings with so many players out of contract. I would think the likes of Osman would be in demand.

Baines will be one of the best players in the league next year - bold prediction but confident about that
hope he can start to stay away from injuries.
Think he has been playing with the same injury he had surgery on last summer all season mate - didn't he reinjure it late pre season or something?
Part of me still thinks that he was rushed back too early from the surgery, seemed to be a massive trend for players to reinjure themselves shortly after coming back under the old manager.
Full rest for him with no England call up, get his foot sorted, and come back to pre season wehn its healed - new manager who knows how to use a quality player like him and we will see the best again
His age shouldn't be any cocnern as he isn't that old yet and never did rely on blistering pace or anything close to that, the better technical players do tend to last longer
hope you're right, was really good near the end of the season i thought. It was weird under martinez, we didn't get the mass bulk of long term injuries we got under moyes, probably the consequence/advantage??? of not pressing all over the pitch.
To be fair he'd do a good job for them and provide some vital experience.Got Burnley or Boro written all over him!
I would think they would join the squad and be able to fight for places, we need a core of experience but it should be a balance of experience and youthThe new manager has to prioritize the current players in the side and that includes the youth with a clear plan to integrate them over the next couple of years.
He also needs to add to that with some proven quality in the spine of the team so results dont suffer in the short term.
The top players we have now who other teams would want are Stones,Barkley,Deulofeu and Lukaku. Ideally a new manager would identify the young players who could join them in the team soon and also more who can be brought in to develop + ready made players to fill in the remaining positions.
decent point. you would think one of the promoted teams or one of those down the bottom would try and upset the applecart by looking at a player like him.
our stance would probably be, we have to wait for the new manager and see if he wants to offer you a new contract. Someone like osman would go "well i'm not going to wait around for that" and want off.
....I don't think we would stop anybody going if their contract is up in the next month or so.
I don't need to list a load of players because I'm not the manager, you have this idea of buying young people all the time and developing them and I've laid out the reasons above why this is a stupid idea, business sense to establish us not to be the almost club again
I don't play computer games so I don't sit there playing fifa or footy manager getting all excited about these lids because there stats look boss and then posting absolute guff on here.
We've just been taken over and are in line for an absolute bumper pay day from the TV deal, that alone puts us ahead of most European teams for the ability to offer an increased wage and an half decent transfer fee.
But no, let's sell baines and coleman because they've been poor under the clown and replace them with 2 unproven youngsters because you had them in your team and a game. Grow up lad.
You argued that these 2 in particular were finished, I said it was Bobby's fault, how about we wait and see what they start like next year instead of filling the team with unproven youngsters who will not take us to the level we need to be at.
Lukaku goes for 60m and you want Rashford because of the 15 games he's playes, shows how naive you are
Switch your ps4 off and go and get some fresh air lid
Sublime popcorning, or a staggering lack of awareness of irony? What "top quality" players in their prime would join then?
If you're certain that is whats needed then you should also have players in mind to support your argument.
This isnt a computer game where you can buy who you want you know....
Name one who have successfully done it the way you suggest?
The post you responded to had no mention of either baines or coleman being replaced.
As for a PS4 i think you are the one playing games all day long or are just deluded if you think everton can attract top class players.
looking forward to seeing some superstars joining this summer lol
