I do think that us signing Long is actually very likely given how much Koeman rates him, and I'll tell you what, I can't wait to finally be proven right about how good he actually is. Forster would be brilliant too, but the main one for me is Tadic out of the Southampton players we could get.

Yes sorry mate, that's exactly what I mean. He's deployed a bit like an inverted winger in that he drifts centrally to the 10 position a lot, but is actually on the same side as his strong foot.

Maybe that's his style, maybe it's how Koeman likes to play his wingers. I do know Koeman bloody loves a cross so perhaps he likes to keep his wingers on their 'traditional' sides to encourage that.

Interesting detail. As you say hard to see if it's the player's decision or the manager's. If Koeman does get the winger doing that we might see Seamus getting back to his best as he'll have the space to overlap.

Yeah Dutch football isnt my strongest just what ive heard/seen. But vincent is quality, just scored again!
