Everton Transfer Thread 2016

What will the transfer implications be if the UK votes to leave the EU?

Stones would be worth about 700 million. Better sign up Hibbert, Osman and Barry on long terms deals while we're at it.

Wolves' Kourtney Hause linked today; great young player - obviously not a starter just yet - but can play LB and CB (like Galloway but this guy is an absolute tank). Would take at the right price to bolster our younger squad players.

None really.
Wouldn't change a dime, unless they suddenly changed the required number of Homegrown players. There'd be a period of leniency of a couple of years in any case.

Has Rooney been discussed on here? Apologies if so.

Would Utd be prepared to sell him? Would we want him?

If they were prepared to leave him go, I feel he still has a lot to offer, could improve the clubs profile and potentially attract others. Bringing in bigger players will be a process over 2-3 years.

Also, would Schneiderlin be available, and would Koeman be keen on teaming up with him again?
Nah, not worth the fee or wages.

Hes defo going nowhere for at least a year now joses there

Wouldn't be instantaneous but getting work permits for players would extend to Europeans so people may look to go local as getting all these young talents would be a lot harder. No immediate ramifications though. I do gauge it would improve our national team in the long run though as Premier League clubs striving to compete in the latter stages of the Champion's League would need the very best English players so would increase the amount of them playing consistently (in theory).

Sterling is likely to devalue initially at least compared to the Euro - meaning clubs with the euro as currency would get better exchange rate. Meaning we could get more money for Stones from abroad - but would have to pay more for other European club players.

A bit like Pelle so he might fit Koeman's style. A team usually needs a strong, target man and he would fit the bill.

Everything that Mr. Niasse seems not to be.

Like Giroud, very underated.

If Rom goes hope we bring in 2 strikers not just the 1, more even depending on if we can give niasse away

Be bloody ambitious that. Would cost at least 30 million surely and Spurs are in the cl.

Germany for me. Best keepers for the lowest prices. Like veg shopping at Aldi.
I,for one have had enough of us having vegetables in goal !
