To be fair mate, that would fit as he never seemed a Martinez type centre back, and we will have a scouting system set up. Koeman will walk in to a long list of recommended players with full reports I should hope. I think its fairly likely Dann is one of those.

And then you go and spoil it all by saying something stupid like Oviedo.
 
Id actually take Scott Dann ... Experienced centre back ... Knows the league and a bit of snide about him . We need to stop / get over the whole Liverpool fixation ... Think Koeman could be looking for a target man .. Is the Dutch lad that type of player ? Would Benteke if the money was right be better ? Bony ? I'd also like us to look at a Matic type player or schnerdlin ... We need to be cognisant of the players coming through that we do t stifle them ... It's s balancing act but one of done properly will reap rewards ... No doubt this transfer window is one I'm looking forward to a lot

...it takes 3 parties to make a move happen and I can't see Niasse being in a hurry to swap life in the Uk on mega money to one in Russia. It might take a lot of pursuasion and money to move him on and you can't really blame him.

Why Wijnaldum?
 
I'm sure we can do better than Scott Dann now. We only need 1 CB and the others just need to remember how to defend, but he's not the answer.

Genuinely excited for this transfer window as we have money to spend for once and we won't be waiting for players to leave first, it's an odd sensation and I think seeing us whack £20m on a few players will be proper bizarre.

Not even going to pretend I know who we're after as undoubtedly we'll buy completely different players. I would really like Sigurdsson here though.

This club are supposed to move to another level. Average signing like Dann won't impress and not a statement of intent. £15m for a 29 years old overpriced English CB. Not for me no thanks. I don't think we need someone just "to do a job".

Manolas will probably cost similar price.
