It's quite obvious, what needs doing. Build up the spine of the team. New Keeper top priority as good as we can get. Would love a keeper that can command his his penalty area and catch the ball. Also he needs to be a good communicator.

Then another centre half, especially if Stones goes ( I have a feeling he'll stay put to learn off Koeman). But if we get one someone who will organise the back four.

Centre Midfield. Barry is our best player in this position but he's getting on and only got a year left on his contract. Also the possibility that he won't be good next season. Like Distan had a really good season but it was his swan song. Best get a replacement now. The other players we have aren't capable of replacing him.

Striker, well we need 3. Lukaku will go don't think anything will stop that now. Then we all know what's behind him. So my point is made, not going to talk about what type of striker. Someone who scores.

After all that, fill in wide positions.

We should look at Jannick Vestergaard from Werder Brehmen - excellent defender and a mountain of a man.

Pierre-Emil Højbjerg is available on a free and would be a great addition to our midfield.

Not sure about wijnaldum, scored all his goals in about 3 games last season.

Newcastle were poor last season and I don't think he's that consistent but he gave team's problems, Chelsea, Liverpool and Spurs had a torrid time with him and I think he scored four in a game against Norwich.
I wouldn't be dissapointed if we are in for him but I think there are far better attacking midfielders out there.

Giroud and Janssen would be quality . I genuinely want Lukaku to leave as the dummies will be thrown out the pram again if he stays no matter what .

I don't know how likely giroud would be but he would be great and would help take the burden off Janssen .

Mandanda would be good on a free as well .

Giroud is also proven in the league. He doesn't have much pace but he's a very good player. I doubt Wenger will sell him. He doesn't get a lot of goals but he's very effective for their style of play and it's almost impossible to get a goal scorer with his ability around the box.

I imagine that the people turning their noses up at the likes of Scott Dann would have done the same with someone like Robert Huth, probably in favour of some young ponce who can't even win a header in their own box. You need players like Huth or Dann if you want to succeed in the Premier League.

Better player out there, yes. We need to replace a lot of dead wood and i would definitely not be upset if we got them, decent players and would do a good job.

From what i have heard about Wijnaldum, he did a massive Lukaku and pretty much downed tools for a large majority of the 2nd half of the season.

Wouldn't you playing for Newcastle and McLaren? hahaha, nah i think there was issues with the management, i will dig it out.

Good player, always had lots of ability. Just needs to be consistent, but how many players do we say that about in the league? few are consistent.

Id take him, so long as he has a relegation release clause, and not over the £14m the barcodes paid for him.
