Believe me Vilhena wouldn't have made the difference in us qualifying or not. Tete, Bazoer and Janssen and probably van Dijk would be the only ones I'd have at Everton

National football is different than League, youve said in the past you dont watch Dutch football, so have you watched much of this Vihena fella outside of National games?
I like the lad, im not sure hes a "next level" type of player tho, hes very inconsistent, thats the main issue I think, on his day hes untouchable, the NZog was a 1 in 20 player, this fella is like a 1 in 10.
I've not watched Dutch football for over a year now. So you probably have a point regarding Vilhena in the last year. Seeing that even the Feyenoord fans rate him as not good enough makes me feeling edgy about signing him. Same as with a lot of Dutch players. How many of the new generation have really been a success?
From what I can read he hasnt really played much the last year, but he was amazing under Koeman from what I can see, which would have been 2 years ago.

Yeh the one's we've been linked with... Janssen didn't play qualifying whatsoever and Bazoer, Tete, Van Dijk, Riedewals etc. only started playing against Kazakhstan when qualification was a slim hope. Only people linked whom did play was Cilessen and Wijnaldum.

I'm by no means an expert on the Dutch league. I just don't have much faith in the current crop of players. Hope we'll be aiming for a higher calibre of players than a bunch of unproven youngsters from the Dutch league. If we do sign anyone, I'm more than happy to be proven wrong.
It must really hurt not being part of this media wankfest that starts in a few days time.

Yeh I know my point was aimed at Dutch Toffee saying don't link us with Dutch players because they couldn't get them qualified for the Euros so I was showing him the ones we're linked with weren't used in qualifying.
Hahaha, in the end it's just surrogate stuff compared to club football. Don't really care too much.
In 2 years time Janssen will win you the World Cup mert, especially when Martinez takes over from Blind.
