Krul is really good when fit, but his injury record has been horrendous for a while now.

Not a dig at you personally, as several others have suggested him too... but Pelle is 30 years old. He turns 31 in July. He scored 11 goals and made 7 assists in 30 Prem games this year; 12 goals and 2 assists in 38 Prem games last year. Less than 20 international caps, less than 10 international goals. He is clearly not an adequate replacement for Lukaku. What are people suddenly seeing in him?

Not a Lukaku replacement, but an infinitely better option than Kone and Niasse. We need 3 good-great strikers, he is one and would be for 3 years.

He's a box-to-box midfielder, has loads of energy, has a bit of everything in his locker and quite strong too. Similar to the Fellaini of old, but better.
