Not going to pretend I've ever seen Witsel play. He comes with a big reputation, he's got a good name for scrabble, and Fellaini hair MKII. Seems like a defensive midfielder based on his goals and assists return, is he a destroyer who likes to pass forward? We need one of them.

Krul would be a bit underwhelming to be honest.

Witsel is like a cheaper version of Pogba. In other words relatively affordable !
 


Witsel's highlights.

A few things that stand out are his hold-up play, quick closing down, driving runs through midfield, positioning and his ability to break up play. Passes forward at the earliest opportunity and he'll win us a few FKs too. Let's not forget his ace barnet too.

£30m for him is an absolute steal.
 

This threads gonna explode now! Thought Witzel was Belgiums stand out the other night but have never seen him play before that, just a bit wary of Belgians now we have had two gobby prima doners from the land of nothing.
