Heard a few rumours that his new deal will be over £100k p/w plus bonuses. Fair play all-round.

Think it'll be more down to us tbh, if we do sell it will be to meet the wage budget compliance and not because he wants away

Hoolahan is a better option than Mata for a number of reasons.
- Mata would be expensive and on big wages
- Mata also fades after 70 mins
- Mata would think he's bigger than the club after where he's come from
- Mata usually can;t handle the more physical aspects of the game
- Hoolahan would be cheap for signing and wages, granted he's getting on a bit
- Hoolahan doesn't go missing during games
- Hoolahan wouldn't complain if he was benched/taken off during games
- Hoolahan has a great assist and scoring record for his price range.

Worth a gamble I think and if it didn't work out it wouldn't be a big financial loss.

I'm all for tempering our enthusiasm, but I think you've gone a little too far in the wrong direction mate.
