Everton Transfer Thread 2016

Hoolahan being better than Mata is absurd

Can we end this transfer thread and start a fresh?

We've got people saying Mata Schneijder Stootman and Witsel and aren't a high enough caliber

Others arguing we only have $100m like Moshiri or Koeman have stated to the media our exact budget...

What else? Oh yer Rooneys too old

As if transfer windows weren't nightmarish enough for us Everton fans this thread can be near death to read at times
How is opening a fresh one going to be any different mate. Its like this every window, worse since cat gifs were banned

Sneijder is a great player and I don't know anything about Aboubakkar but I've read he is a powerful and skillful forward. Over to you Moshi.

Maybe not because their owner is a weirdo, does things like bid for a player eg lacazette and get rejected and then add an extra 1 mil....

I was following the lacazette saga with interest, apparently their owner David Tory gold was trying to pay on the drip for lacazette, could be similar to mitchy

Definitely not a weirdo! I met the Gold brothers and David Sullivan a number of years ago and they are very level headed on the ball efficient business people, but emotional in private. Lets face it, they did a fine negotiating job on behalf of the Hammers and their new stadium.

These things are all relative but they do come across as spivvy when in comparison to other football owners. Looking to pay on the drip for players and other smalltime ventures seem right up their street. As in fairness is having one of the lads bleating all sorts of things over twitter (like some of the nonsense about McCarthy).

Which ones the midget?

Sneijder will be a good solid signing. I can't see us doing a "city" and buying the likes of Robinho straight off the bat. A few established names, maybe not at their peak but certainly not on the descendency, to improve our league finishes, achieve European football and with that as well as the money attract plaers approaching, or at, their peak.

All the talk last week about Hazard wanting Lukaku back at Chelsea because he wants to play with the best players. What about hazard coming to Everton. Make it happen Everton
