Not really. Lukaku was proven already in a top league, Batshuayi isn't. Plenty of players have shown you can look decent in the french league but actually be average. Not saying Batshuayi is, he may be great, he may be crap at this level, but he should never cost the same as someone who is proven in the Premier League and has a sensational goal record for his age.

if benzema was available you wouldn't say oh lets go in at 5 mil cos he's unproven.

these days you have to pay big money to get good players even if they are unproven

Only reason batshauyi would go there is to get into a decent league, show himself off and then move on to a bigger club after a year or two
