Plus we've just got a new manager, Pardew has been there and in place, they will have discussed deals towards the end of the season. Oh and the window literally does not open till Friday.

Fair enough. I don't really know any players unless they play for Everton so I've got absolutely no idea who we should or shouldn't be going for. I've made a decision to just get deliriously excited whenever we sign anyone from now on.

Same here to be honest. I don't know half as much about random foreign lads as I used to. I think this Batshuyi (I can't even nearly spell it) is supposed to be decent though. 26 goals in 62 games for Marseille according to wiki doesn't sound too great though.

The other night was the first time I'd seen him. I've seen his name written down but I had no idea how to say it, like Nike Huaraches. He looked quite good though so now I want him at Everton more than any player ever.

I tend to always kee an eye on players we are linked with after the fact it's my way of learning about players outside of EFC I think we were first linked with Batshuyai around the Jelavic area iirc
He's solid strong athletic has pace can head a ball solid passer not selfish... Can get lost in games but will always provide something for team whether it's defending from the front or pulling a CB out of position
I highly rate him, not quite lukaku but not far behind puts in a little more effort has a little less finishing ability
I'd be happy to pay $30m for the fact he could definitely progress into a world beater should Koeman want to compete with Palace
