Koeman was quoted saying he want's three keepers all pushing each other - i'd guess one will be a very clear No1 and the others good back ups pushing each other for a starting place and i wouldn't mind Krul being one of those. That would mean the end for Joel which is a shame as he hasn't don't much wrong.

They're paying more for Batshuayi than we paid for Rom.

He's only 5 months younger than Rom and has no premier league experience. Lukaku scored more last season in the prem than Batshuayi scored in the much weaker French league. Rom also had a better ratio in the Belgian league. And last season was Batshuayi's first good one in higher level European competitions. It was arguably Rom's fourth.

In short, whilst I like Batshuayi, it's a ludicrous fee and a big risk for any club to pay that much. It's also very worrying going forwards as it seems even 100m won't go that far if purchases like Batshuayi's and Mane's become the norm.

Not massively fussed about this, I think he is a OK premier league keeper - but nothing great.

He won't cost much. Probably £6m-£8m as he only has a year left in his contract.

I rate him more than Robles so I am happy with this if Koeman also rates Krul.
