If we can't get Mata or someone of that level I would like us to go get sigurdson for 12-16m good player imo, Koeman recently said in his article that he rates him highly

Oh no. I still have nightmares about the last "unorthodox" striker we signed...

The way he plays. Worth looking up because he doesn't play like a typical striker , but it works anyway. I remember reading something a while back before he moved to Milan about it. It's partly down to the fact he plays in the box so a poacher with his own style to nip in and score.

So is there a point where it's legitimate to wonder if Everton are having trouble attracting targets? I know that the window isn't "technically" open, but there's already been quite a bit of player movement already. Having new money is great, but my concern is that EVERYONE has money (the Crystal Palace bid yesterday grabbed my attention). I have no doubt that we will sign players--but I suppose I expected us to have some news to announce by now.
