Not entirely sure what to think of the Grosicki links. He's definitely got some quality but looking at his club career it seems as though he performs better on the international stage. I've actually seen a bit of him at Rennes As I follow Ligue 1 with it being on Bt Sport regularly but whilst he's looked decent from what I've seen he's never really stood out as someone who can be consistent in the prem...may well be a case of him performing better for Poland as he's around a higher calibre of players.

yeah, if reports are true, i'd be a bit underwhelmed. I want a top top player for that sort of position. I think with mirallas, deulofeu, lennon and mcgeady we already very good options for the wings, but need a proper top class talent for the left who can score as well as be a playmaker centrally.

It should be our most important/exciting signing. I don't think this guy would be that because i've never heard of him. Don't want to get players who look good internationally, there's loads of david healys and kyle lafferty's floating about ... look at bendtner's danish record for instance!

London + new stadium + offering bigger money = no chance.

Sadly west ham are going to beat us in a straight chase for a player now.

What we need to be doing is signing better than them. They want kovacic? We sign Modric.
 

Given the wall of silence the club now seems to operate, I'm just sitting tight to see who we get, ignoring the papers in the process.

I'm deffo not getting my knickers in a twist over other teams signing players, and just because a comic paper says we're interested in someone doesn't mean it's true.

Completely agree mate. He's certainly not better than Mirallas or Deulofeu when fully fit and on form. Anybody is an upgrade on McGeady like and I'd probably put him on a par with Lennon based on what I've seen. Both tend to be inconsistent but can beat any fullback on their day.

Be fine as a squad player like but for the price we're rumoured to be paying I'd feel we would be over paying based on his Euro performances.

That is what makes me laugh at this point. All the fake stories that seem to get people going without any substance. Huge debates about players that we never even bothered to enquire about.

I mean all this west ham this west ham that going on with blues now, easy to forget our new manager out performed them despite them signing all of martinez's signings.
