Nah....... he's talking about that little crying bitch........ who wants to leave us........ you know the one.......... the one who believes all the hype about himself....... the one who was dropped because of his poor form.......... can't think of his name ...... can you ?

hmmmm...

He wants to leave to play under the best manager in the world. It's got nothing to do with 'believing the hype'

Silly statement to say that his drop in form last season was as well - when for much of it he was one of our better players.

When he goes, we get £50mil for him. Covers at least two high-quality players and wage increase. No grudge on my part, wish the lad all the best.

Stones will do a Rodwell at City............ and end up at Sunderland 18 months down the line.

he really, really won't.

Rodwell never wanted to leave, btw - he was transfer listed by Moyes as we needed to sell to buy.

Stones has got all the talent in the world. It's nowt to do with hype. And he'll be playing with better players under the best manager.

We'll move on, and get a nice fee as well.

Palace have also bid 12.5 million for James Tomkins from west ham... not a first choice centre back. So value for money isn't easy to get in the premier league

It never is, and with the TV money it'll only get worse.

But Koeman managed on a lesser budget at Southampton to get good players in, we'll be fine.

Guardiola is far from that.
If Stones leaves for City, I believe he will make a huge mistake. However, I don't care since we are getting 50 million for a young defender with a lot of potential but who is still unproven and mistake prone. With those kind of money, even in today's market, we can get 2 centre backs that are not worse, or even better, than Stones.

I see the doom & gloom seems to of reappeared. Come on people lighten up. We will spend BIG this summer, how big may depend on departures, but that by no way means we are selling to buy! Turn it on its head, perhaps selling Stones now rather then a week before deadline actually gives us longer to find some worthy replacements. You'd all be moaning if we sold him late in window, leaving us no time to replace. Chill. We will move on IF Stones/ Rom leave. Koeman knows a thing or two about the game so let's trust he'll ensure come deadline day we are stronger.

Guardiola not the best manager in the world?

Yes, he really is.

Reckon he'll struggle in the prem

we'll see.

But he clearly is the best manager in the world at the moment, in regards to everything you judge a manager by.

I too think he may find it difficult at first, but at this very moment he's the best. It may be different in a year's time, or he may have proved himself again.
