Just looking at the squad there....

I know there's the Euro lads missing but it's a reminder of just how much it's lacking in quality.

We need to get a move on, it's all well and good being relaxed about the situation but it will be to the detriment of our season.

There's a lot of dross to shift and lots of new faces to be brought in.

He's the new DOF. Sorting the Mata, Witsel and Koulibaly deals as we speak.

I would tend to agree, although if you want to be a contender, rather than just looking for "value", getting the best CB there is, to put in front of a top notch goalkeeper would certainly help a lot.

Buying Ziyech for a relative pittance seems like a no brainer.
Been the best player in Holland for a couple of years and can fill in anywhere in the attacking midfield slots.
Reckon he will be our first outfield signing

Just how good can this Koulibaly actually be? Howedes is boss and Schär is a top player too, I'd rather have the pair of them ahead of one lad who would have to be on a par with Nesta at his peak to be worth it.

Top goalie is a huge one to get right though. Not convinced we're getting one either.

I've heard good things about him.

Yet when I accidentally saw a Dutch game last season Dirk Kuyt was running rings around him.

I won't judge just on that though of course.

I remember a saints fan saying Ziyech was scouted by Koeman at Saint's so wouldn't be shocked if we end up after him, although can't see us going for both him and Mata.
