It's just a really tough transfer market this summer. You guys aren't the only club struggling to get deals over the line. Last thing you should want your club to do is start signing players they aren't completely convinced by just for the sake of signing somebody.

It took us a couple of seasons to recover from wasting the Bale money.

I agree with this however we need at least 4 starters. A GK, CB, CDM and No 10. It is worrying that we have failed to get any by this stage in the window. Most clubs have at least one or two of their targets in already.

Agree with Chico here.

We should all take a good look at ourselves here and have a think from an outside perspective. You'd laugh at how bloody deluded we sound! A player like Juan Mata is not joining Everton Football Club, no new signing will be announced today or any time soon and if we do announce one this window, it's not going to be a record breaking "marquee" signing. End of story.

Just because Esk is a shareholder and has got a few things right doesn't mean we should lick his arse about everything. He will not always be right.

Some of you around here need to peel your sweaty arses off your chairs and get some fresh air.
