I'm no longer at the completely not even arsed one bit stage, but I'm not at the stage of being particularly concerned either. I'm just getting slightly impatient and frustrated.

I reckon he is staying at United

We'll see.

Mourinho was pretty coy on it but he isn't just going to come out and say 'Mata is off', is he?

At the moment Mourinho won't be planning for the season ahead thinking he'll have Pogba, for example - but he'll be utilising the players he has at his disposal - including Mata.

If they do get Pogba in though, then Mata seemingly becomes surplus to requirements simply by logic of you can't have 12 players in a side and he's unlikely to play regularly.

I reckon Mata will probably be the main target like

Something will happen soon enough and will chill out the masses. Until then, enjoy the fume.

not a fan of jenkinson myself. i'd rather let kenny come through and a few other options to fill in for coleman.

My thought behind my comment was that we could send JJ out on loan for a full season or two, at which point coleman would be in his late 20's maybe 30. I doubt Jenkinson would happen anyway, im just thinking about the 'cover' option, I normally believe that we should have 11 first teamers, 11 more to play back up, whilst the reserves are there to help out and if good enough, given the chance in the team over a run of weeks/months. I also believe that every team should have one or two 'homegrown' talents on the bench every week. I mean we have 7 subs these days.

I think that's the stage most of us are at but bare in mind until tomorrow RK won't have seen his side play more than a training match. He'll have targets and now that Walsh is in I imagine negotiations will step up one way or the other.

At the moment, deals for Mata and Witsel seem unlikely but that could change in an instant and given there is over six weeks of the window left I wouldn't rule them out.

Carvalho negotiations are reportedly in their preliminary stages, while it seems we may be looking at players like Sigurdsson and Begovic (or be preparing to make bids).

I said on Monday that if we hadn't made any signings this week that I'd be a bit worried, but with Walsh coming in I can see it stepping up in the next week. If we're saying the same thing this time next week then maybe that'll change.

Look we tried for the top tier players and they simply dont wanna know, no matter how much money we throw at them, people need to realise that these players get far more money in sponsorship than they would paying 75% tax on their earnings in England, things like Europa and CL football increases their exposure which in term increases the amount they earn.

We need a sense of realism, we are a team that has finished 11th for 2 seasons on the run, havent won a pot for 21 years, sure we have money to throw around, but as I stated above, players can make that paper elsewhere.

I see people turning their noses up at the likes of this Sigi fella, shocking sense of entitlement.
