We'll sign one or two this week, but we've already left it too late to have the ideal preparation for the season ahead.
Massive missed opportunity by dithering for a month. People will forget it when we start bringing in the players, but if/when we get off to a shaky start it will be because of how slow off the mark we have been.
To have not brought in at least a first choice goalkeeper by now is verging on negligence in my eyes.
Re: Wijnaldum... I was fuming when i thought he was coming here i really have never liked him his attitude sucks and he only looked amazing amongst a bunch of crap players surrounding him stick him in a decent team he becomes a naismith or a kone someone who can do a job occassionally but certainly not a first teamer ....
Anyways its always good to get perspective and make sure im not the idiot.... Same rednose who sent me that formation a few pages back hit me with this, this morning... Am i being a knob or is he dead set as dumb as i thought...
Well ...this is so very odd. I have just hypnotized (It's my job) The ex girlfriend of Ronalds son ....... Timmy.............. She knows Sweet F all about football.......... but I asked her if she would find out about any transfer news.......... she said she would phone his mum tomorrow and let me know. I Swear on your kids lives........ I ain't making this up. Whether she does..... I don't know...... but that was the most surreal evening I have had .
Just to add to the way footie gets reported, The Mail article (written by a red, Dominic King, for a national syndicate) is totally different to Liverpool Echo article (written by a red, James Pearce, for a local paper).
They both sort of have the same headline i.e Wijnaldum turns down Everton and Spurs, but at least the national paper quotes him saying "'I was waiting to see what interest Everton showed in me but Liverpool's interest was greater".
The Mail quotes him saying about Benitez' influence "'He didn't say anything like 'Liverpool is a big club, you have to go there'. He told me first of all that he wanted me to stay".
However, the Echo decides that the headline they would use is - Rafael said Liverpool 'is a big club'
Should the Echo be renamed the Liverpool (FC) voice?
