From the sound of it us getting him or not will depend on the Kiev chairman. There is little doubt Martinez wants him, and what I like about Martinez is he has been successful in getting who he wants and likes so far (eg coming back permanently for Geri, Rom and GazBar after their loans) and doesn't seem to have the same fear about paying out money that Moyes sometimes did (Would Moyes if he was here now have spent £28 for Rom - who's now worth double that - or paid the extra £3M when Ramiros price went up from £6.5M to £9.5M?)

I'd love it if we get Yarmolenko and would say he's worth the £21M or even a bit more if we end up paying that.

Havent seen much of the lad, but he looks a real talent and comes highly rated, of course I want us to sign him, I do think its a risk, but as you and others have said, its a risk I would be ok with taking.
