Let's hope so. At the moment it seems a bit optimistic but things can happen out of the blue in football.
What I wouldn't do to have a pint with Mr Walsh and ask him what our situation is re player recruitment thus summer.

A very basic forecast based on the last 3 years of known accounts I made would suggest a wage bill this year of £14 million. However, that does not account for Moshiri coming in and us having the ability to really grow it as much as we want with the profit we could generate off of a Stones or Lukaku sale.

Still though even at the very unlikely low end of a £14 million increase in the wage bill would give us around £275,000 a week plus the difference from players who are sold and the wages from expired contracts from last season.

That should be more than enough for us to land some big players and that is a low-end scenario without really accounting for player sales.

Of course we can keep stones despite the STCC.

Instead of the £50mil odd for him we would just need to offload others....McCarthy and Cleverley would fetch some decent amounts and others could add to that like gibson and kone etc
 

I'm not sure what's more frustrating.....

When we had no money, and had to sell to buy, or just buy crap.

Or now we're supposed to have money ( not a thing to back that up yet) and weve bought a keeper....who's not even that good.

Horrible window so far.....as a Evertonian I should have known better than to get all excited.

And all that....today's the day. Or Friday will be a good day by supposed ITK just winds people right up. Tbh that might hear bits but have no clue what's going on. None at all...
