He's looked a real player every time I've seen him. I'm not convinced RB is his long term position, but the lad is a real talent, no doubt.
If he's available we should be all over that like a tramp on chips imo.
I think its going to kick off if signings don't come soon, but people need to remember that this summer has been a bit of a funny one. Its pretty clear that Walsh is going to be a key figure in choosing transfer targets and he only started 1 week ago. Before then, he had been working for Leicester, who, despite winning the league, are working with on a different level budget wise. If we want our DoF to be meticulous in selecting Everton-suitable players who represent value for money, then he has to be given more time.
I would genuinely prefer us not to spend a penny, than throw millions around on players that haven't been selected with due diligence. Leicester spent £20M last summer and Newcastle spent £50M.

Would be nice to think we announce a couple of signings the day of a game, give everything a boost.

I'm extremely confident that we'll not sign anybody today. I can feel it in my bones and all that...
