He didn't say show a picture of the three people running the club and transfers

I'll start running around in circles shouting "Oh Lordy, Lord" if we haven't signed any quality by the Spurs game.

You speak like this window has seen players go for great value .

Transfer anxiety is skewing people's decision making on here.

Its obvious.

There is NO WAY in an ordinary scenario most people would be saying to spend £10 million on a 32 year old.

Let me point to the big flaw in your post.

The word:

ASSUMPTION

Right? So strengthening our defence won't improve our chances of winning more games? Payer for Westham is a classic example ... People on here said he was over priced and Westham could " have him" because his wages were ridiculous and he wanted a 6 year contract or whatever it was and that he would have no re sale value.... Just look at what he has done for that club.... Forget for one moment that his value has sky rocketed... Just look what a difference buying players that are the finished article can do... Defence was by far our worst problem last year... And buying someone that will no doubt improve the defence and won't need time to adjust to the league is a sensible signing and at 10m is not expensive at all in today's market

Mate.

Spending £50,000 to buy a mini when I could spend £100,000 and get an Aston Martin is the level of expensive it is.

When said 32 year old had some of the best defensive stats in the league last season, is a no nonsense defender (which we've needed for some time) and a proven leader then yes £10 million isn't terrible.

Yes. It is terrible.

I've said it before and I'll say it again.

There's a difference between being rich and stupid.

In this case of Everton, there must be.
