I tend to get very early information. Others are much better at medicals/appearance at FF etc.

We are expecting to bring 3 or 4 in this week and I'm confident we will bring in 8 before the window closes.

GK, RB, 2CBs, 2CM's, LM, Striker?

Im saying 2CB's as we seem to be in for a Stones replacement (Koulibaly) and an experienced PL CB (Williams/Fonte). I'd like more than 1 extra striker but RK seems to like Geri up there.

If we're still getting the big signings across the line that Esk has been confident on for the last four weeks then Januzaj is a nice touch on loan. Showed glimpses of real quality in Moyes' tenure at United but I don't think LVG fancied him (which doesn't necessarily make him bad). Let's not forget that we took the likes of Lukaku and Deulofeu on loan before signing them and they turned out great! We also took the likes of Traore on loan and when it didn't work out we didn't get lumbered with a Niasse on the booked... It's a win/win!

Given you get info early in the process, is this kind of thing an educated guess?

Got a feeling that by the end of the window a lot of other supporters will be going wow haven't Everton made a statement of intent.

Going to be some serious heads gone by other clubs supporters...........I mean big time.

Keeps fingers crossed that The Esk's info is solid.

I dont get how we are supposed to bring in 4 this week. Theres too little time before the season begins for them to really gel.

Would rather we get Januzaj for loan-to-buy and he doesn't realise his full potential which is obviously considerable, than watch him go elsewhere and maybe realise it then think "crap" like we've done with Mustafi.

Koeman plotting move for Dutch defender

Everton manager Ronald Koeman is interested in signing Porto defender Bruno Martins Indi according to Kaveh Solhekol of Sky Sports.

The big Dutch centre-back could be available for £12.5m which would see the Portuguese team nearly double their money for their acquisition from Feyenoord in 2014.

The 24 year old left footer is seen as a talented player by the Koemans and would be brought in to help shore up a leaky Everton defence.
