Everton Transfer Thread 2016

A few people overdue their afternoon nap in here! Toys out the pram everywhere!

The transfer window is nowhere near over, we have substantial evidence we are working on massive deals and even more evidence we're about to sign one of the best CBs in the Premier League and from the Euros and a player Walsh has identified over a year ago.

As another user said yesterday, we are buying for the future of Everton, not for a squad to face Spurs. But if that was the case does anyone believe a starting lineup of Joel, Baines, Coleman, Williams, Jagielka, Barry, McCarthy, Barkley, Deulofeu, Mirallas, Lukaku is not good enough to beat Spurs with a coach who actually understand tactics?

Quick let's all panic about what is in the scheme of things a game, a pastime, a huge money making machine. That to be perfectly honest don't give a [Poor language removed] if any of us live or die, that did splurge a humungous amount of money on an absolute waste of space, while some fans will be going without to pay for the honour of a seat to worship at the altar of these capitalist elites.
Do you know I'd like us to sign a player and hope we do, but in the grand scheme of things I don't really give a toss whether we do or don't there's more important things

Its a wonderfully terrible beauty this thread.

Will be a shame when we sign boss players and the fume disapates.

The season starts next week lads and we have signed no one.

Code Red.

I just think that it is a shame that we haven't taken the opportunity to make a statement. One of our main priorities was to keep hold of Rom and Stones this summer, and I think if we would've made a couple of big signings, it could've convinced our top talents that we are a club going places. Unfortunately, we haven't done this and the likes of Stones and Rom are now looking to jump ship fast.

Eh! When did we sign him? Also Jags may be injured or at least not match fit.

Where is this 'substantial evidence' that we are working on massive deals please? Substantial evidence would more than satisfy me.

Except it doesn't exist. Im sick of people being wound up into a massive frenzy by the ramblings of someone who is clearly a total fantasist.
