second signing of the summer in today. by all accounts Williams will be tied up in the coming days, and possibly Witsel in time for the season.

Progress could easily be made on Carvalho and other targets

I imagine that we offered/expressed our interest, but got rebuffed.

But there's four weeks left. The 'massive deals' usually take longer cos they involve better players, higher fees, higher wages, different sponsorship deals.
