The mirror is saying Naismith wants to stay until the summer. Hopefully they're wrong on that one.

Fairly confident Nais will go.
Am sure personal terms would have been discussed on August deadline day, when Norwich failed to persuade us to sell him then, and I am sure they would have been discussed before start of Jan.

Other clubs showing interest has probably meant his agent trying to get a better deal for his client

It'll be us stalling Naismiths move not the other way around.

We're clearly trying to get a replacement 'good to go' before allowing him to leave.

Looks like Naismith is pulling the pin on the Norwich move as he wants to wait until the summer according to one of the daily rags this morning

Leeds are also looking for 5 million for Sam Byram we have supposed to have offered only three million, suppose the deal has to start somewhere

Finally on Newsnow it states that Everton will wait until the summer to move on Howard when they bring in Ospina from Arsenal, great move if that comes off

I'd be amazed if we've offered 3 million.

Like Cleverly last season, I get the feeling this deal is done and dusted between Everton and Byram and we'll quite happily sit and let his contract run down and sign him in the summer before we'll pay anything above and beyond what the development fee would be if we get him out of contract.
