Everton Transfer Thread 2016

£35mill + Bony would see us come out with just short of £30mill after Barnsley's cut.

Considering we would be getting a proven PL goalscorer who is strong, pacy, can hold the ball up & play upfront on his own if need be, thats very good business imo.

Yes, I'd snap their hand off for that. When McCormack is going for £13m we're not going to find many strikers of bony's calibre for a similar price. Hopefully not just paper BS, but probably is.

as an incentive for Bony which team has the better bench accommodations Everton or mancity how does our cup holder technology compare with theirs just asking the key questions all the big name players inquire

But he got no pace at all, he doesn't run
That's like saying Aguero doesn't run. He does have pace. I think he would be incredible for us but one of the journalists that is very well connected at our club said we were not interested in him, at least not with regards to Stones to city..

Could Bony and Rom play together? Will that mean Koeman wants to move to a 442 or 352? I can't see Bony swapping City's bench for ours.

If he still gets paid at the end of the week he will, plus he'd actually be second choice here, he wasn't next in line whenever Aguero was injured for City

Wilfried Bony linked (via Twitter) people saying he has been in the city today, agreeing terms and having a medical.
Also Sunderland signing Djilobodji from Chelsea today is fueling the rumours that we are signing Kone from Sunderland, so Stones can go to Man City!?!
We've only got 3 CBs one a ageing JOS and Kaboul is prone to injury so don't read too much into that mate plus it would take a hell of a lot more than the medias fee of £15m to prize him away in the current market he must be worth £30m

If the boss is trying to implement a pressing game surely that needs to start from the top of the pitch and I see neither Bony or Rom as suiting this style

agreed and I would say it's actually a massive problem up top. Whether it's Rom, Del and Ross or Kev in place of one of those 3, the work rate and chemistry just isn't right imo and I don't think a team can afford to have 3 players who literally do no defensive work whatsoever.

Individually or on paper I look at those 3 or 4 and think "yeah they are great", but as a collective unit I don't think it works. Even though it was a pre season game I thought against Man Utd there were enough warning signs for Koeman to think about changing it up

I know the market is elevating to crazy proportions especially this summer, but a 7 million player to a 30 million player in 6 months!?

He's looked decent for you since January but come on you're getting a little over excited here, he's nowhere near a 30 million pound player.
