There is no release clause mate, that was his old contract, he's just got an agreement to leave if its an acceptable offer and if there out the champions league by January, if they were out of that id be much more confident makes no sense for him to move yet, just think were all wasting are time getting excited

I think it is obvious the player wants to move on in the not too distant future.
Why would he then sign a new contract which relies on the goodwill of the clubs owners to honour a verbal agreement.
There will be escape clauses in the contract, they may relate to CL clubs only or have other stipulations but there is no way his agent would allow his client to be tied down completely by a new long term contract.

NEA about yarmalenko. No way on gods green earth is he signing EVER. Will get better offers, we won't spend 20+ million in January, just his pudding of an agent tryna drum up interest. Byram, clear a bit of deadwood will be the sum of our activity. Would love another striker as everytime rom gets hacked I'm having kittens, but can't see it happening. Honestly, think about it from his POV. Chelsea and City have top strikers and can buy immediate proven should those leave. He'll never get a look in going there. We have 0 backup to Lukaku.
